Planning permission is compulsory for permanent equestrian buildings and stables in the UK, for both commercial and professional use. Advice on presenting your application and handling bureaucracy is part of the Scotts barn building service.

Following an initial consultation, a guideline estimate for your equestrian building will be provided. When agreed, we can provide a full set of drawings to accompany a Planning Application. We can assist with the completion of Planning Application forms, Design and Access Statements and Site Plans. However, for particularly sensitive areas, Scotts may well recommend seeking advice from a Planning Consultant at an early stage of the process. A dedicated and experienced barn building team is responsible for the final construction of your American Barn. At an agreed date, Scotts will deliver and construct your American Barn and associated buildings onto the pre-prepared site. At this stage, the walls, internal partitions, doors, windows and roof are all brought together to complete the project.

Scotts are able to coordinate with other specialist subcontractors, such as plumbers and electricians, so that the whole site is ready for the horses to move in upon completion.
