The Scotts of Thrapston family are again pitching up at the 2022 Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials in September 2022. Showcasing a premium equestrian building, and a specially selected range of luxury summerhouses, we look forward to celebrating the world’s greatest 5* equestrian event with you all.
The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials – which runs from the 1st to the 4th of September – is globally acknowledged by leading riders as their ultimate competitive goal and is the biggest summer three-day event in Britain. The prestigious event is renowned for its challenging terrain and stunning Burghley House venue.
As one of the key dates in the summer social season, the Scotts team are always very excited to join the festivities and showcase our luxurious range of equestrian buildings/premium stables, luxury summerhouses and styling features. Throughout the event, you can find our team on stand C40 where you will also find:
- The Scotts of Thrapston exquisite 9m x 7m multi-use equestrian building. This impressive outdoor stable includes a variety of quality features that include: Stable, Tack room, Log store and a multi-functional room with fully glazed double french doors. This multi-functional room could be utilised as an office, gym, kitchen and so much more. The design of this beautiful stable building reflects the need for greater flexibility required for equestrian buildings that so many within the industry have called for.
- A luxurious Scotts Rotating Burghley Summerhouse. The 2.4m The Octagonal Summerhouse, which is constructed with a handy rotating base, includes a pair of glazed lockable doors and casement-style windows. Manufactured from hardwood timber, the Burghley summerhouse creates an attractive and spacious space which is ideal for entertaining all year round. Our classic 3.4m Sun Ray Garden Room Summerhouse. As one of our largest summerhouses, the Sun Ray Garden Room is a traditional timber garden room that has proved increasingly popular as a hobby room whether for painting, yoga or as a home gym. Constructed out of quality hardwood timber and features an optional tongue and groove effect lining to the internal walls in an off-white paint finish.
The large and luxurious Sun Ray Garden Room is displayed on an innovative ground screw and timber joist base system. The base offers an eco-friendly and cost-effective foundation for a summerhouse of this size and design.
Throughout this bustling, elite social event, we will also be showcasing our stylish new range of 2022 Fabrics and Paint Colours. Our brand new Mappleton Charcoal and Altea Elm Cushions with Stone Seating Cushions will adorn our 2.4m Burghley Summerhouse with a Birch paint finish. The 3.4m garden room will be painted in the new Aubergine and filled with Sanderson Jackfruit Olive & Altea Thyme scatter cushions and Stone seating.

- The Equestrian building auction: The specially selected show unit, with a retail value of £60,000, will be auctioned off on the last day of the equestrian event. We will be taking sealed bids of a minimum of £25,000 from 1st September – 30th September and the highest bidder by the closing date will secure the building at the price they bid.
- A summerhouse offer: Limited Edition 2.4m Burghley summerhouse in a birch finish and a selection of our new fabrics will be available for a special show price of £8800. This discounted price will only be available during the duration of the show.
